Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use Mona Lisa 1, an independent image-creation and model-observation product.

1. About Mona Lisa 1

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of Mona Lisa 1 at mona-lisa-1.app (the "Service"). The Service is an independent product. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, LM Arena, or any other model provider.

The name "Mona Lisa 1" refers to an unreleased model name observed in community or Arena discussions. It does not mean that the model is available through this Service, officially confirmed, or provided by OpenAI. The image-generation workspace currently uses the publicly available GPT Image 2 service, which is identified in the product interface.

2. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required to use online services in your country. If you are under the age of majority, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity performed through your account. Sign-in is provided through Google. You must provide information that is accurate and keep it current.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create a security or legal risk, abuse credits or automated protections, or use the Service in a way that could harm other users or the Service. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including the availability of a model or feature.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law, infringe another person's rights, or facilitate harm;
  • create, upload, request, or distribute content that is abusive, threatening, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, hateful, or sexually explicit where prohibited by our safety systems or applicable law;
  • exploit, sexualize, or endanger minors;
  • impersonate a person or misrepresent the source, identity, or official status of content;
  • upload content you do not have the right to use, or use generated content to violate privacy, publicity, trademark, copyright, or other rights;
  • reverse engineer, probe, overload, interfere with, or bypass rate limits, safety controls, credit controls, authentication, or other protections;
  • use automated access or scraping except where we have expressly authorized it; or
  • use the Service for high-risk decisions or as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.

You are responsible for the prompts, reference images, and other material you submit ("Input") and for checking the results before you use or share them.

5. Inputs and generated outputs

You retain your rights in your Input. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, we do not claim ownership of images generated from your Input ("Output"). AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright or other exclusive rights in every jurisdiction, and similar or identical results may be generated for different users. You are responsible for determining whether your intended use of Input or Output is lawful and properly licensed.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and display Input and Output only as needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. Our Privacy Policy explains this processing in more detail.

The Service may display editorial examples, Arena observations, or community reports about Mona Lisa 1. Those materials are informational and do not represent Output generated by Mona Lisa 1 or an official statement from any model provider.

6. Credits, purchases, and subscriptions

Some features require credits or a paid plan. The applicable price, credit amount, billing interval, and any expiration or usage conditions are shown at checkout or in the product interface. Credits are a limited, non-transferable right to request Service operations; they are not money, stored value, or a guarantee that a request will produce a particular result.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You authorize the applicable provider to charge the payment method you select, including recurring charges when you start a subscription. You are responsible for applicable taxes and for reviewing the checkout details before purchase. We may change prices, plans, or credit costs prospectively.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise, access and unused benefits continue until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights still apply.

7. Third-party services

The Service depends on third-party services, including Google authentication, Cloudflare infrastructure and storage, payment providers, and the GPT Image 2 provider. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We do not control third-party availability, content, or processing and are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME, OR THAT OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, UNIQUE, NON-INFRINGING, SAFE, OR FIT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. YOU MUST REVIEW OUTPUT BEFORE RELYING ON IT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONA LISA 1 AND ITS OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms when the Service, law, or our practices change. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and disputes.

11. Governing law

Unless mandatory law in your place of residence requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Service operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer protection rights or remedies available to you.
